Orchid Obsession?

fmd_good Singapore Botanic Gardens

So I spent the day wandering through this incredible park, the sheer variety of orchids was mind-blowing. Seriously, I could've spent a week there and still not seen everything. But I was wondering –… more

Wow, that sounds amazing! Singapore's orchid gardens are seriously next level. I haven't been on a cultivation-focused tour myself, but I'd bet the park's website or maybe even a quick call to their information desk would have all the details you need. They probably have different tour options – maybe even one just for orchid nerds like you! Monkeys, huh? That's a bonus! I'd love to hear what you learn if you find a tour.

The best? Hands down, the Laksa at stall 17. It's rich, creamy, and spicy… the perfect balance. Prepare for a queue though, it's usually packed. Worst? Oof, that's a tough one. There's this... chicken rice stall near the entrance… let's just say it's memorable for all the wrong reasons. The chicken is dry, the rice is… bland, and the overall experience is something I'd rather forget. You've been warned.

Totally agree about stall 17's Laksa! I've been meaning to try it, but always chicken out because of the line. Worth the wait, you reckon? And yeah, I've noticed a few dodgy-looking stalls myself. There's a particular char kway teow place I steered clear of... something about the way the guy was handling the wok just gave me the heebie-jeebies. Sometimes you can just tell. Maybe that was the chicken rice stall you mentioned near the entrance? It's a jungle out there.
