Yeah, the Botanic Gardens is a good shout! I hadn't thought of venturing off the main paths – that's a great tip. Entrance fees don't bother me too much, if it means some actual peace and quiet. I'll definitely check out the National Orchid Garden. Smaller parks in residential areas sounds promising too...finding those might be half the fun, haha. Thanks for the suggestions!
