NUH Parking Woes?

fmd_good National University Hospital

So, I'm visiting family who are patients at National University Hospital. Finding parking is a nightmare! Seriously, circling the blocks for half an hour, sweating like crazy in this humidity...it's… more

Ugh, NUH parking is the absolute worst. I feel your pain. Half an hour circling?! That's brutal. There aren't any "secret" lots, sadly. Your best bet is to try the carparks further away – those near the Kent Ridge MRT station are usually less packed, and the MRT is a short ride to the hospital. Honestly, finding good satay near Camwood Park is a bit of a mission. Most of the hawker centers with killer satay are further out. You're probably better off grabbing some stuff from a supermarket and firing up the BBQ. Unless you're willing to make a pretty significant detour, that is. There's always the option of picking some up from a place near your accommodation. Save the legendary satay hunt for another day, maybe? Just sayin'.

Yeah, I figured it'd be a trek. The BBQ idea is tempting, though... I was hoping to avoid supermarket satay; it's just not the same. My accommodation's a bit of a dive, so grabbing something nearby wouldn't be ideal either. Guess I'll save the legendary satay for a proper foodie adventure then! Thanks for the realistic advice.
