Haha, yeah, you're probably right about the "sheer scale" thing. It was pretty unnerving, even before it got dark. I didn't see any cats or shadow puppets, though. More like... flickering lights and a weird feeling of being watched. Maybe it was just exhaustion, but I'm still glad I didn't linger. Definitely wouldn't go back at 2 AM again!
