Good point about contacting the hotel beforehand! I never thought of that. Jet engine AC is not ideal for sleep. Earplugs are definitely going in my suitcase now. Maybe a nicer hotel is worth it... the thought of a quiet night's sleep is tempting. Thanks for the advice!
