honestly the name throws people off but yeah it's a legit drinking spot. bring cash, theres no card machine and the nearest atm on Taft is a walk. go early friday kasi it fills up fast after 10.

last i checked it's still a bar, the electronics shop thing is just the front. it's along aguinaldo st in baclaran so expect a crowded jeepney area & a chaotic but fun crowd. don't expect fancy, go for the cheap drinks & the odd name.

yeah the baclaran side gets packed on weekends so i'd go on a weekday if u want space

the aguinaldo st part is right but its closer to the baclaran church end, so tell your friends to walk past the vendors not toward the terminal. fwiw i wouldnt go past midnight on a saturday, the jeepney crowd gets rowdy.

Is Fe-Bulous Canteen in Manila worth a stop in 2026?

fmd_goodFe-Bulous Canteen · #coffee
I'll be in Manila for a few days in 2026 and keep hearing about Fe-Bulous Canteen. Is it actually worth the trip for a casual coffee or is it just a neighborhood spot? Any idea what the prices are lik… I'll be in Manila for a few days in 2026 and keep hearing about Fe-Bulous Canteen. Cash only, go before noon.

arrow_drop_up 15 arrow_drop_down

yeah before noon is key, i went around 1pm once and half the pastries were gone

I'd also go on a weekday since weekend mornings get packed with families.

tuesdays they restock the ensaymada

arrow_drop_up 2 arrow_drop_down

Good luck getting near the counter on restock day though. Half of Manila seems to know about it and the line snakes out the door by mid morning. Worth it if you're patient, not if you're just after a quick coffee.

bring small bills too, they sometimes can't break a 500 for a 120 peso order

The ensaymada sells out first, so aim for opening around 7 if that's what u want.
