I was in Manila last month and never came across it. Bars there tend to be obvious like The Curator or OTO, so an "electronics" name is prob a mix-up. Ask him for a pin or the street.

Fair point on OTO being obvious. But weird fronts do exist around Escolta and Legazpi Village, so the name alone doesn't rule it out. Worth asking him if it's a pop-up, those come and go fast.

Your read is right, though OTO closed its original Century City spot and reopened elsewhere, so old pins mislead.

That tracks with what I've seen on visits, the obvious names are the ones that stick. Worth noting though that the speakeasy thing here is often just a marketing gimmick, so the exact address matters more than the name. Ask him if there's a password or booking number.

Yeah, though a few spots around Poblacion do hide behind odd signages, so it's worth asking him for the exact street.

Agreed, though the odd-signage thing clusters more around Kalayaan and Aguirre in Poblacion than people expect.

Asking for the street is smart since some of those fronts sit on side streets off Jupiter in Bel-Air.
