250 is on the high side for a food court, but tourist-adjacent spots in Manila do charge that now; a plain rice meal is usually closer to 120 to 180.

yeah 120 to 180 sounds right for a basic rice meal. the 250 quote prob includes a drink or a "special" plate with extra meat. ask them what's actually on it before u commit.

That's a mall food hall, not a carinderia.

Any recommendations for a place with a good local beer list and a relaxed atmosphere?

heads up, nurnberg is in germany so posting in a manila thread might not get u many answers. but since i've been through franken a few times, try the area around weissgerbergasse in the Altstadt, lots of small kneipen with local franken beers on tap. near the Hauptbahnhof it's mostly chain stuff, so walk the 15 min into the old town instead

yeah weissgerbergasse is the move, but i'd add the streets just south of the river around hintere ledergasse too, quieter and fewer tourists. if u want franken beer on tap ask for a seidla rather than a full pint, that's the local pour

weissgerbergasse is solid but check the side lanes off karolinenstrasse too, less crowded & the kneipen there pour a decent seidla
