Best photo spots in Pyongyang?

Headed to Pyongyang in 5 months and I'm looking for the best places to take photos. Any recommendations for iconic spots or hidden gems that are camera friendly? honestly the arch of triumph is worth a shot too, just get there early morning when the light hits it right and there's less traffic around. also the mangyongdae funfair area has some cool angles of the city skyline if you're into that kinda vibe

if you're with a group, the kim il sung square is kinda a must but the trick is to stand at the far end near the river so you get the reflection of the buildings in the water, it makes for a cleaner shot without the crowds. also the mansudae grand monument is fine but tbh the statues are huge and the lighting is flat mid-day, go when it's overcast or right before dusk for better shadows. your guide will prob let you linger a bit if you ask nicely, just don't try to photograph any military stuff

the juche tower at sunset is pretty essential, the view from the top looking over the city and the taedong river is the classic shot. if you want something less touristy, walk along the riverbank near the ryugyong hotel, you get a weird contrast of the unfinished giant with ordinary life happening around it. just keep in mind your guide will be with you and some areas like the metro stations are fine but random street photography of people can get you a talking to
