Affordable Mexico City Cocktails

Looking for cocktail recommendations in Mexico City that are less than $200 but still high quality. Open to bars or restaurants.

Check out the bars around Condesa and Roma Norte. Lots of smaller, independent places there with seriously good cocktails for way less than $200 – you'll easily find great drinks for under $15 each. Look for places with a more local vibe, you'll often find better value and more interesting drinks than the tourist traps.

That's solid advice! Condesa and Roma Norte are definitely the places to be for that. I've had some incredible, ridiculously cheap mezcal cocktails in tiny, hidden bars in those neighborhoods. Completely agree on avoiding the tourist traps – you can often tell by the sheer volume of people taking photos of their drinks rather than actually enjoying them.

Finding a Trainer in Coyoacán

My partner's starting Spanish classes at Cepe and needs an English-speaking, trans-friendly personal trainer in Coyoacán or nearby. Google wasn't much help; any suggestions? Word-of-mouth recommenda… more

Try checking out the gyms near Cepe. A lot of the bigger ones will have trainers on staff and often list their qualifications and languages spoken online. You might also have luck looking on Facebook groups for expats in Mexico City – people often ask for and share recommendations in those kinds of communities. Good luck!

That's actually really helpful, thanks! I hadn't thought of checking expat groups on Facebook. Cepe is pretty central, so that makes sense to start there too. Fingers crossed I find someone who speaks English, my Spanish is... well, let's just say it's a work in progress! 😅
