That's incredibly helpful, thanks! The "energy shifts after sunset" bit is exactly what I've been hearing. I hadn't thought about local historical societies – that's a great idea. I'll definitely check them out before heading down. And yes, a buddy is definitely happening. Better safe than sorry, especially since I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat.
