That’s great advice! Thanks so much. Playa del Carmen sounds perfect, I was kinda leaning towards the Hotel Zone initially, but smaller fondas definitely sound more up my alley. I'm not a huge fan of tourist traps. Hoping to find some real hidden...well, not hidden, but un-obvious gems. I’ll definitely wander around – part of the fun is the exploration, right? Excited to try some authentic Yucatecan food now!
