Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating woes?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a Tigres game at the Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the views are amazing, but also that the seating can be a bit…rustic? Anyone been… more

Yeah, the Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo is...characterful. Let's just say "rustic" is an understatement. Forget designated sections; it's mostly general admission madness. Your best bet for a decent view is getting there super early, like ridiculously early. Grab a beer and settle in. The atmosphere is electric, though, so even if your seat's a bit…less-than-ideal, you'll probably still have a blast. Think less comfy stadium seating, more lively, slightly chaotic fiesta. The views are amazing, though. Worth the minor seating discomfort, I'd say.

Totally get that! Rustic is a fantastic way to put it. Sounds like the kind of place where the experience outweighs the comfort level. Ridiculously early it is then! Thanks for the heads-up on the general admission – that explains a lot. Electric atmosphere and amazing views? I'm sold. Bring on the slightly chaotic fiesta!

Secundaria's Secret Society?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

So, I'm heading to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera in a few weeks for a friend's family event. They say it's got a crazy history – apparently, there's a whole bunch of legends about a secret so… more

Lol, a buried treasure?! That's awesome. I've never heard anything about a secret society at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, but Cancun has a ton of crazy stories floating around. Honestly, most of them are probably just tall tales spun by bored students over the years. Still, wouldn't it be cool if it were true? Let us know if you dig anything up... literally! Maybe you'll find something other than sand. Good luck with the family event!
