That's a really cool idea! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera... I haven't a clue about current school dances there, sadly. It's a long shot, but maybe try reaching out to the school directly? Their website might have some info or maybe you could even email them. Failing that, Cancun is a big place – maybe someone on a local Facebook group for @Cancun might know? Nah, the "hear a pin drop" thing is total hype. It's a decent stadium, don't get me wrong, but it's not some acoustic miracle. A full house is gonna be loud, standard stadium roar. Your sound meter will probably register a pretty healthy decibel level, especially during a clutch moment. Bring it though! I'm curious to see what your readings are. It'll be interesting data, for sure.
That's fair enough. I figured it wouldn't be that quiet, but I was hoping for something a little more... intimate, I guess?
