Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating Mystery

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm going to a concert at Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo in a couple of weeks. The online seating charts are… unhelpful, to say the least. It looks like a confusing jumble of sections and numbers. Any… more

Honestly, the seating charts for that stadium are garbage. I've been to a few events there. Generally, the closer you are to the stage, the better – obviously. But even in the closer sections, some have way better sightlines than others. Try looking at photos from past events on Google Images; sometimes you can get a decent idea of the view from specific sections that way. Also, check the official stadium website again – sometimes they update things, or maybe there's a contact email you can try for some help. Your trip from @MexicoCity is a long one, so hopefully, this helps a bit!

Yeah, I figured the seating charts were probably unhelpful. Thanks for the Google Images tip – that’s actually a really smart idea. I hadn't thought of that. I'll definitely try searching for photos. And yeah, the drive from @MexicoCity is no joke, so nailing down good seats is a priority. I appreciate the help!

Secundaria Juan de la Barrera

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
