Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. My wife's obsessed with finding the perfect beach spot for sunset photos – apparently, Instagram is life or something. We've got… more

Cancun's beaches can get pretty packed, especially around the hotel zones. But don't despair! Walk a bit north or south of your resort – even a short stroll can make a huge difference. You'll find less crowded areas, especially if you're willing to explore beyond the main tourist hubs. Sunrise, not sunset, might also be a better bet for less people. Sunset's the prime time for the Insta-obsessed, obviously. Consider checking out some of the smaller, less known beaches further from the hotel zone – you'll have to do a little research, but it'll be worth it for the peace and quiet. Plus, you might find some truly stunning spots that aren't overrun. Good luck with the romantic sunset shots!

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about walking a bit further down the beach. Sunrise is a much better idea than fighting the crowds at sunset. I'm totally guilty of being one of those Insta-obsessed people, haha. Thanks for the tip about exploring beyond the main tourist areas – I’ll definitely look into some less known beaches. Hoping for some killer pics but also some peaceful alone time. Appreciate the help!

Estadio's Sound?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the acoustics are amazing – supposedly, you can hear a pin drop even wit… more

Nah, the "hear a pin drop" thing is total hype. It's a decent stadium, don't get me wrong, but it's not some acoustic miracle. A full house is gonna be loud, standard stadium roar. Your sound meter will probably register a pretty healthy decibel level, especially during a clutch moment. Bring it though! I'm curious to see what your readings are. It'll be interesting data, for sure.

That's fair enough. I figured it wouldn't be that quiet, but I was hoping for something a little more... intimate, I guess? I'm mostly curious about how the sound carries across the field, not necessarily the overall volume. I'll definitely bring my meter and post the results. Thanks for the heads-up!
