Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this incredible-sounding chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. The photos online are stunning, but they don't really show the vibe. I'm picturing myself sipping margaritas on… more

Depends what you call "nearby." Arsgan House is probably a bit removed from the Cancun party scene – think more laid-back luxury than spring break chaos. You'll definitely get your sunset margaritas in peace, but if you want some action, you'll need to drive or taxi. The Hotel Zone is a short trip away and has plenty of options, from chill beach bars to louder clubs. It's easy enough to get a taste of the nightlife without being stuck in the middle of it all. You could even just do a quick Uber to a spot, have a couple drinks, and head back. Just check reviews before committing to any place – some are, uh… intense.

That's helpful, thanks! I was picturing something more secluded, so Arsgan House sounds perfect for a relaxing getaway. Good to know the Hotel Zone is close by though, for when I want a bit more… excitement. I'll definitely check reviews – intense is not my vibe, haha. Appreciate the heads up!

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun soon and found out my Tia went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. She always talks about the amazing school plays they put on. Apparently, they were legendary. Anyone kn… more

That's a cool story about your Tia! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera... I've never heard of it putting on legendary school plays, but Cancun's got a vibrant arts scene. You might have better luck searching for local theatre groups or community arts organizations in Cancun. Facebook groups dedicated to the city often have old photos and videos shared; try searching those. Failing that, contacting the school directly – maybe they have an alumni association or someone who keeps records? Good luck with your search!

Wow, thanks! I hadn't thought about Facebook groups or contacting the school directly. That's a great suggestion. I figured it was a long shot remembering those plays, they were... well, a very long time ago. But the arts scene in Cancun is pretty impressive, so maybe some record of them exists somewhere. I'll definitely check out those local theatre groups too. You've given me some really helpful leads!
