Yeah, I've been to a few gigs at the Andrés Quintana Roo stadium. The sound is... a mixed bag, to put it mildly. It's massive, so getting a consistent sound across the whole place is a real challenge. I think the echoes you heard are probably just a result of the stadium's design and how sound waves bounce around in such a large, open space. It's not uncommon in venues that size, unfortunately. Some parts are great, others… less so. Glad you still had a good time though!

Honestly, I wouldn't sweat the sound system too much. The energy of the crowd at that stadium usually drowns out any minor audio issues. It's loud, like seriously loud, from the cheering alone. Think more about bringing earplugs than worrying about the PA's fidelity. You'll be fine.
