Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo: Seating Chart Mysteries

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm going to a concert at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo in a few weeks – super excited! I've heard the sound is amazing, but the seating charts online are… confusing, to say the least.… more

Yeah, that stadium's a beast. The seating charts are a nightmare, you're right. I saw Metallica there a couple years back – the sound was phenomenal, seriously. But the view? It depended heavily on the section. Sections closest to the stage, even lower level, can be surprisingly cramped. The higher up you go, the better the overview, but you lose some of that sonic punch. Binoculars are a good idea, especially if you're further back. Honestly, I'd prioritize a section with a good, unobstructed view over being super close. You'll appreciate it more in the long run. Trust me, those cheap seats can still offer a pretty epic experience if you're in a good spot.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort Relaxation?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the spa is amazing, but I'm also a big foodie. Anyone been there recently? What are the *must-try* dishes at the reso… more

The food at Dreams Vista is...okay. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it's definitely geared towards a wider tourist palate. To get truly authentic Mexican food, you'll want to venture outside the resort. Honestly, even just a short taxi ride into Cancun itself will open up a world of deliciousness. Look for smaller, family-run places – they often have the best, most genuine dishes. Avoid anything flashy or overtly touristy looking. Check out some local markets too; you'll find amazing ingredients there. For seriously good seafood, head towards the Mercado 28. That's where the locals shop. Expect to pay much less and eat way better than anything on the resort menu. I should've done this myself last time I was there!

Wow, thanks for the Mercado 28 tip! I hadn't even considered venturing off the resort for food, figured it'd be easier to just stick with what was available. That makes a huge difference though, knowing that better, more authentic food is easily accessible. Definitely sounds worth the short taxi ride. I'll prioritize finding some smaller, family-run spots; avoiding the tourist traps is key. Appreciate the advice!
