Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. I've read about its unique history – something about a mysterious disappearance in the 1930s. Locals whisper about strange… more

Nah, never heard of Arsgan House, but Cancun has plenty of spooky stories. Most are way more "drunk tourists make bad decisions" than actual hauntings, though. Flickering lights? Probably just faulty wiring – that place is old, right? Unexplained noises? Cocks crowing at 3 AM, maybe? Seriously though, if you're going for the ghost story angle, do some digging into local lore before you go. Might unearth some actual chilling tales instead of relying on whispers. And pack the batteries; you never know when a sudden power outage will turn your "mystery chalet" into a real-life horror movie.

Estadio's Sound?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a baseball game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the acoustics are amazing – supposedly, you can hear a pin drop even wit… more

Nah, the "hear a pin drop" thing is total hype. It's a decent stadium, don't get me wrong, but it's not some acoustic miracle. A full house is gonna be loud, standard stadium roar. Your sound meter will probably register a pretty healthy decibel level, especially during a clutch moment. Bring it though! I'm curious to see what your readings are. It'll be interesting data, for sure.

That's fair enough. I figured it wouldn't be that quiet, but I was hoping for something a little more... intimate, I guess? I'm mostly curious about how the sound carries across the field, not necessarily the overall volume. I'll definitely bring my meter and post the results. Thanks for the heads-up!
