Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. Heard whispers about it being haunted… not in a cheesy way, but more of a… lingering presence kind of thing. Locals call it… more

Yeah, I've heard that name tossed around. Casa Encantada... spooky. Never been there myself, but a friend of a friend's cousin swore they saw something flitting through the trees near the property late one night. Said it was too fast to be a bird or an animal... something else entirely. They also mentioned a persistent low hum they couldn't explain, even with the ocean nearby. Could just be the usual Yucatan Peninsula weirdness, though. The air's thick down there, you know? Lots of humidity and weird weather patterns... so maybe it's just your imagination playing tricks, amped up by the whole "haunted house" vibe. But hey, if you find anything, let us know! I'm all ears.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort Relaxation?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the spa is amazing, but I'm also a big foodie. Anyone been there recently? What are the *must-try* dishes at the reso… more

The food at Dreams Vista is...okay. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but it's definitely geared towards a wider tourist palate. To get truly authentic Mexican food, you'll want to venture outside the resort. Honestly, even just a short taxi ride into Cancun itself will open up a world of deliciousness. Look for smaller, family-run places – they often have the best, most genuine dishes. Avoid anything flashy or overtly touristy looking. Check out some local markets too; you'll find amazing ingredients there. For seriously good seafood, head towards the Mercado 28. That's where the locals shop. Expect to pay much less and eat way better than anything on the resort menu. I should've done this myself last time I was there!

Wow, thanks for the Mercado 28 tip! I hadn't even considered venturing off the resort for food, figured it'd be easier to just stick with what was available. That makes a huge difference though, knowing that better, more authentic food is easily accessible. Definitely sounds worth the short taxi ride. I'll prioritize finding some smaller, family-run spots; avoiding the tourist traps is key. Appreciate the advice!
