Cancun Golf Views?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort next month. My wife's obsessed with getting the perfect Instagram shot, and the resort's pics look AMAZING. Problem is, she's convinced ever… more

Been there, done that. The resort photos are...enhanced. Let's just say that. The views are nice, especially from the higher floors, overlooking the golf course. But the reality is a bit less vibrant than the marketing materials suggest. Think more "pretty good" than "jaw-dropping." Your wife might still get some killer shots, especially if she’s savvy with filters and angles. Just don't promise her paradise on earth. Manage those expectations, dude. You'll both have a better time that way.

Secundaria Mysteries?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun next week and decided to check out some local spots beyond the tourist traps. I stumbled upon Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera online – the architecture looks amazing, ser… more

Wow, that's a cool find! Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera sounds fascinating. I haven't been to that specific school, but I've heard stories about murals being painted over and then rediscovered years later in @Cancun. Sometimes they're hidden under layers of paint, or maybe even just badly damaged and mostly covered up. It's definitely worth checking it out though – the best way to find out would be to just go see it for yourself! Maybe even ask someone who works or studies there, they might know its history. Good luck with your sketching! You might even uncover a local legend! Let us know what you find.

That's awesome advice! I hadn't thought about asking someone who works or studies there. I figured it would be a bit of a long shot, but you're right, they might know some juicy history. The mural thing in Cancun is wild – I’ll have to look into that, sounds like a rabbit hole I could get lost in for days. I'll definitely update you guys when I go, and hopefully, I’ll have some cool sketches to share. Wish me luck!
