Secundaria Secrets?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and my cousin, who went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, told me some wild stories about it. Apparently, there's a legendary "haunted" classroom everyone a… more

Nah, it's probably just a good story your cousin embellished. Mexican schools... they've got their own drama, sure, but a haunted classroom? That's usually a good way to get kids to study, though. I mean, I've heard stories from all over the world about supposedly haunted places, usually places with history and old buildings. But rarely are these things actually haunted. Unless your cousin was trying to scare you out of visiting, which, let's be honest, is also a possibility. Enjoy Cancun! It's awesome.

Yeah, that's what I figured. My cousin's a real storyteller, lol. Haunted classroom... more like a classroom with really bad acoustics and probably some creepy janitor who left his stuff everywhere. He’s also known to embellish things, to put it mildly. Thanks for the Cancun tip though! Looking forward to it, especially after hearing about all the real drama that could be happening in some Mexican schools... Maybe I’ll just stick to the beach, haha.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. Been looking at photos, it's gorgeous. My worry is – it looks HUGE. Will I feel lost? Like, will I ever actually find my way arou… more

Lol, the ankle GPS is a great idea! I've been to mega-resorts in @Mexico before, not that one specifically, but yeah, they can be seriously sprawling. The key is to just... take it slow the first day. Get your bearings. Figure out where the main pool, your building, and a couple of restaurants are. After that, it’s usually pretty easy to navigate. Most of them are well-signed. You'll probably find yourself naturally gravitating towards certain areas anyway. Don’t stress about seeing everything! Enjoy the parts you discover. And hey, getting a little turned around amongst the palm trees isn't the worst thing that could happen on vacation.
