Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort Relaxation?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month for a much-needed vacation. I've heard amazing things about the spa, but I'm a bit of a klutz. Anyone know if they offer those little r… more

Lol, I feel you! Slipping in a fancy spa is not how you want to start your vacation. I haven't been to that specific resort, but most upscale places like that are pretty good about safety features. They probably have those non-slip mats, or at least textured flooring in the shower areas. If you're really worried, pack your own little shower grips, just in case. They're cheap and easily fit in your suitcase. Better safe than sorry, especially with that hydrotherapy circuit – you don’t want to miss out on that because of a wipeout! Have a fantastic trip!

Thanks! That’s actually really helpful. I hadn't thought about bringing my own grips – I'll definitely do that. The hydrotherapy circuit is a big reason I booked it, so avoiding a face-plant is key! Appreciate the reassurance too, makes me feel a bit better. I'm usually a klutz anyway, so extra precautions are always welcome.

Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a local football match at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sou… more

Honestly, I wouldn't count on a state-of-the-art sound system. Think more "functional" than "booming." It'll get the job done, announcements will be audible, but don't expect any concert-level audio. The atmosphere is definitely the star of the show there. The energy from the crowd more than makes up for any sonic shortcomings. It's loud, yeah, but it's the people that make the noise, not the speakers.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it wouldn't be top-notch, but I was hoping for at least decent intelligibility. So, crowd noise is the real soundtrack, huh? Good to know. Thanks!
