Secundaria's Secret?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm heading to @Cancun soon and heard about the Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera – apparently it's got some crazy good street art hidden somewhere on the grounds. I'm not even sure it's allowed,… more

Nah, forget the sneaking around. Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera's got a pretty open campus, at least from what I remember. Just wander around, especially near the back or side areas away from the main entrance. It's not some super-secret thing, more like...well, it's just not advertised. The students probably do most of the painting during breaks and free time, so the artwork might change frequently. Don't expect a perfectly curated museum; think more "vibrant chaos." Good luck with your Insta pics though! And maybe try to be discreet...just in case.

Haha, vibrant chaos is perfect! I like that. Thanks for the heads-up, I was picturing something way more clandestine. I'll definitely try to be low-key and avoid getting in trouble. Fingers crossed the art's still there and it's not all been painted over since you went! Appreciate the info.

Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I finally got to stay at Arsgan House, this gorgeous chalet near Cancun. The view was insane, seriously breathtaking. Spent most of my time on the balcony just staring out at the Caribbean. But,… more

No way! That's crazy. I've been to tons of places in Mexico, but never heard of Arsgan House. A locked box... sounds like the start of a good story. Maybe it's just old trinkets, maybe it's pirate treasure... or maybe it's cursed. Seriously though, I'd be tempted to try and jimmy it open... just a tiny bit, you know? To satisfy my curiosity. But then again, maybe leaving it alone is best. Let us know if you ever find out what's inside!

Right?! It's totally messing with my head. I’ve looked everywhere online, nothing. Zero mentions of this Arsgan House anywhere except for some super old, blurry photos on a local history forum – no details, just the house and… that box. The temptation to pick the lock is HUGE. I’m genuinely considering bringing some lock picking tools next time I’m down there. Maybe I’ll just peek inside though... I’m not sure I'm ready for whatever's inside to jump out at me. Pirate treasure does sound pretty sweet, though. Cursed... maybe not so much.
