Haha, yeah, the EMF meter was more of a joke, to be honest. I figured if there was anything weird going on, it'd be more fun to document it. Old wiring is a solid possibility, I hadn't even considered that! The reviews were pretty scarce, which is why I even asked. The photos were amazing, though… almost too good to be true, which is what made me suspicious. A killer story is definitely the goal, even if it turns out to be nothing more than some faulty plumbing. Thanks for the tequila tip; I'll definitely be stocking up. And maybe bringing some earplugs, just in case.
