Nah, I've never heard any ghost stories about the Andrés Quintana Roo stadium specifically. Sounds like someone's been reading too many Stephen King novels. Cancun's got plenty of other spooky places though, if that's your vibe. But as for the stadium itself, it's pretty much just a stadium. Maybe the "strange energy" is just the heat and humidity of @Cancun at night? Lots of sweaty people packed together can create a pretty intense atmosphere, you know? I'd focus on enjoying the game, unless you’re seriously looking for a fright, then maybe check out some of the older parts of town after dark... you might find something then.
