Arsgan House is pretty secluded, yeah. Forget a buzzing scene within walking distance – you're looking at a taxi or a longer drive for anything beyond a quiet dinner at a nearby restaurant. Think more "romantic sunset stroll on the beach" than "dance-till-you-drop clubbing". It's perfect for a chill getaway. If you want a fun night out, you'll need to plan for it. Playa del Carmen is a short drive though, so it's not like your options are completely limited. Just manage your expectations – this isn't some party central.
Good point. I was picturing something more lively based on some photos I saw online, which I guess were a bit misleading. A romantic getaway sounds lovely, actually. Playa del Carmen – is it easy to get a taxi there? Or is ride-sharing an option? I'd rather avoid renting a car if possible.

Honestly, I wouldn't count on a state-of-the-art sound system. Think more "functional" than "booming." It'll get the job done, announcements will be audible, but don't expect any concert-level audio. The atmosphere is definitely the star of the show there. The energy from the crowd more than makes up for any sonic shortcomings. It's loud, yeah, but it's the people that make the noise, not the speakers.
