School schedules in Mexico can be pretty fluid, and information isn't always readily available online. Your best bet might be to try contacting the school directly – maybe their website has contact info, or you could even try calling. Explaining your family connection might help them be more receptive. Failing that, popping into the school during normal hours (assuming they're open when you're there) and politely asking if anyone can tell you more about their history wouldn't hurt. Sometimes a little old-fashioned face-to-face works wonders!
