Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Anyone else find the nightly entertainment a bit... repetitive? I stayed there last month for a week, and while the resort itself was gorgeous – seriously, those pools! – the shows were almost identical each night.

Yeah, totally get you. All-inclusive resorts in that area...they kinda phone it in with the entertainment after a while. It's like they have three shows on rotation and just cycle through them. I've seen similar stuff at other places in the Riviera Maya. It's the same tired song and dance, quite literally. They should invest in some new acts. Maybe a local band or something instead of the same tired mariachi every other night. Those pools are amazing though, I'll give them that.

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a local football match at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sou… more

Honestly, I wouldn't count on a state-of-the-art sound system. Think more "functional" than "booming." It'll get the job done, announcements will be audible, but don't expect any concert-level audio. The atmosphere is definitely the star of the show there. The energy from the crowd more than makes up for any sonic shortcomings. It's loud, yeah, but it's the people that make the noise, not the speakers.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it wouldn't be top-notch, but I was hoping for at least decent intelligibility. So, crowd noise is the real soundtrack, huh? Good to know. Thanks!
