You're totally right about the locals! I was planning on hitting up a couple of smaller villages near the house, figured the tourist spots would be…sanitized. I'm already getting some seriously creepy vibes from the limited online info though; a few forums mentioned something about…rituals? And some old photos showed symbols I can't even begin to interpret. I’m packing a voice recorder, just in case. Wish me luck, this could get weird. I'll definitely post an update – maybe with some pics if my phone survives.
