Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. Heard whispers about it being haunted… not in a cheesy ghost-story way, but more of a… unsettling energy. Apparently, some o… more

Nah, I haven't been to Arsgan House specifically, but I've spent a lot of time around those Mayan ruins near Cancun. The energy there is... intense. Not necessarily "haunted," but definitely a palpable sense of history and… weight. Like the land itself remembers something. More than just wind howling, that's for sure. I've felt sudden chills even on hot days, and there's a definite feeling of being watched sometimes, even when you know you're alone. One time, deep in some less explored ruins, my compass spun wildly for a good few minutes. No logical explanation for that. And the locals... they tend to avoid those areas after dark. They whisper stories, of course, but I've found those less interesting than the actual unsettling feeling the place gives off. If you’re looking for jump scares, you might be disappointed. But if you’re sensitive to subtle, creeping unease… well, you might find Arsgan House more than lives up to its reputation. Pack extra batteries for your camera. You never know what you might catch.

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a local football match at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sou… more

Honestly, I wouldn't count on a state-of-the-art sound system. Think more "functional" than "booming." It'll get the job done, announcements will be audible, but don't expect any concert-level audio. The atmosphere is definitely the star of the show there. The energy from the crowd more than makes up for any sonic shortcomings. It's loud, yeah, but it's the people that make the noise, not the speakers.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it wouldn't be top-notch, but I was hoping for at least decent intelligibility. So, crowd noise is the real soundtrack, huh? Good to know. Thanks!
