Saw Tame Impala there last year. Sound was… a mixed bag. The stage sound itself was pretty decent, but the way it bounced around the stadium was weird. Some spots were great, others were muddy and a bit lacking. It wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't perfect. Still had an amazing time though, the band was incredible and the energy of the crowd made up for any sonic shortcomings. Worth it, ultimately, for me. Just maybe bring earplugs if you're super sensitive to uneven sound.

Arsgan House near Playa del Carmen? That place is gorgeous, but quiet? Doubtful. Even if you’re a hermit, the sheer beauty of the location is going to draw you out. Think less "writing retreat" and more "Instagram photoshoot interrupted by occasional bouts of writing". The photos are stunning, but they don't show the reality of a popular spot. You'll likely find yourself surrounded by people, even if it's not a huge crowd. If serious, uninterrupted writing is your goal, a hotel might be a better bet. Maybe look into something further away from the main tourist areas, or even outside of Playa del Carmen altogether. @Tulum, for instance, has some quieter options.

Yeah, you totally nailed it. I was picturing something way more secluded, based on the pictures. Guess I should've looked at more than just the pretty Instagram shots! Thanks for the @Tulum suggestion, I'll check that out. Maybe something a bit more… hermit-friendly, haha.
