Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this amazing-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Playa del Carmen. The pictures online show this incredible secluded spot, but reviews are…sparse. I'm wondering if anyone's b… more

Hey! Arsgan House, huh? Sounds idyllic. The access road... yeah, that's a fair question. I haven't been there myself, but I've heard from others that it's more "rustic" than "paved highway." Think well-maintained dirt road, not a complete mud-wrestling match. A regular car might be okay if it's a newer model with decent clearance, but a small SUV or crossover would probably be a better bet. You definitely don't want to risk bottoming out – ruining your vacation before it even starts is no fun. Check recent Google Maps street view images; they might give you a better idea of the current road conditions. Enjoy those margaritas!

Good point about the road! I hadn't thought about checking Google Street View – that's super helpful. A small SUV is probably what we'll go with then; peace of mind is worth it. Thanks for the heads-up on the potential for a less-than-smooth ride. Margaritas are definitely part of the plan!

Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo Seating?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

So, I'm heading to @Cancun next month and I've got tickets to a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but the online seating charts are, well... unh… more

Honestly, the seating isn't too bad. It's pretty standard stadium fare. I'd say aim for sections closer to the halfway line, lower bowl if you can swing it. The view's better and you'll feel the energy a lot more. Don't sweat the specific section number too much though – even the upper deck has a decent view. Trust me, the atmosphere makes up for any minor seating inconvenience. You'll be immersed regardless. Just get there early to snag a good spot, especially if it’s a popular match.
