Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I'm going to visit my cousin in Cancun next month, and he told me about his old school, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. He said it was a really old building with some crazy stories. He mentione… more

Cancun's a wild place, eh? Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera... I've heard whispers, yeah. Old buildings in Mexico hold a LOT of history, some of it... unsettling. A hidden room in the library? Sounds like the kind of thing that gets embellished over time. Probably just some old storage space or something forgotten during renovations. Haunted? Maybe some kids were playing pranks, or it was just dark and creepy. Don't go looking for trouble, though. Enjoy your cousin's visit! Focus on the good stuff, like the beach and the tacos. Unless your cousin’s story is actually true and then...well, good luck.

Yeah, Cancun is pretty wild. My cousin's story was definitely embellished – she's a drama queen, lol. But that school…the way she described it…gave me the chills. Old buildings do have a weird vibe sometimes, you know? Like they’re holding their breath. It's probably nothing, just old stuff and dust bunnies. I'm focusing on the good stuff – tacos are a priority. Thanks for the advice!

Secundaria Memories?

So, I'm planning a trip back to @Cancun next month and it got me thinking about my old school, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I spent so many years there, from awkward puberty to the thrill o… more

Wow, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera! That takes me back. 2008... I graduated from there in '06, so things might be a little different. I remember Mrs. Rodriguez – she was a legend. Those tests… brutal. But yeah, sneaking off to the beach? Classic Cancun. I doubt they've cracked down too much on that, haha. The school itself… I remember it being pretty run-down even back then. Probably hasn't improved much, honestly. Maybe a fresh coat of paint? But I wouldn't bet on it. More likely, it’s still got that same slightly chaotic, wonderfully Mexican energy. It’s probably still buzzing with students. You'll probably recognize the basic layout, but expect some updates or renovations. I'd recommend just driving or walking by if you’re feeling nostalgic – see what you think! Good luck with your trip!
