Oof, yeah, that sounds about right. I should've checked the internet situation before booking that secluded chalet. Completely forgot how unreliable things can get outside the main tourist areas. A local SIM card sounds like a lifesaver – thanks for the tip! Guess I'll be embracing the "unplug" part of my vacation a little harder than I planned... at least the views are stunning, as you said. Fingers crossed the 3G holds up for a few essential things.
