Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort Quirks?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard the beach there is *amazing*, but the online reviews are a bit…mixed. Some rave about the service, others complain abou… more

Honestly, the staff thing is a crapshoot. Some days they're angels, other days... not so much. It's less about time of day/week and more about sheer luck, I think. My experience was mostly good, but I've heard horror stories from others. Don't expect Michelin-star service, basically. For beach chairs? Early bird gets the worm. Seriously, like sunrise early. Or, be sneaky and claim them while having breakfast, leaving your towels. There's usually a mad dash around 9am. Don't underestimate the power of a good book and a well-placed towel – they act as effective chair claimers.

Wow, that's helpful! The inconsistent service thing is a bummer, but at least it's not a consistent bad experience – just a gamble, haha. Thanks for the heads-up on the beach chair situation; I'll definitely be up with the sun then. Good to know about the towel trick too; sneaky but effective! I guess packing a really compelling book is part of my packing list now, along with sunscreen... and maybe some extra luck charms.

Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm finally going to check out this Arsgan House everyone's been raving about near Playa del Carmen. Heard it's got some seriously creepy vibes, though – like, old-school haunted house creepy. No… more

Yeah, Arsgan House. I've heard whispers. Apparently, it's less "chainsaw massacre" and more... unsettling quiet. Like, the kind of quiet that makes the hairs on your neck stand up. People say the history is heavy there; some seriously messed-up stuff supposedly went down. Go in with a friend, and maybe bring a good flashlight. And don't go alone at night...

Seriously? Unsettling quiet is way creepier than chainsaws. Chainsaws you expect. Silence...that's where the real fear lies. I'm picturing dust motes dancing in the moonlight through grimy windows... Okay, maybe I’ve watched too many horror movies. But still, a flashlight is definitely going on the packing list. Thanks for the heads-up! Any idea what kind of "messed-up stuff" we're talking? Murder? Rituals? A really bad tax audit?
