Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Best Poolside Drink?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard their swim-up bar is legendary... but I'm a bit of a lightweight. What's the *best* non-alcoholic drink they make pool… more

Their virgin piña coladas are pretty killer. Lots of fresh fruit, not too sweet. Perfect for lounging by the pool. Alternatively, ask for a fresh squeezed limeade – it’s usually really tart and refreshing. They also do great fruit smoothies if you want something thicker.

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort: Mosquito Mayhem?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month for a much-needed vacation. I've heard amazing things about the resort itself, but reviews are kinda mixed on the mosquito situatio… more

Yeah, mosquitos are a real pain in the neck, especially in that part of @Mexico. I haven't stayed at that specific resort, but Cancun in general can be pretty buggy, depending on the time of year and the weather. Bring DEET – seriously, the highest percentage you can find. Those little monsters are relentless. Don't rely on those fancy, natural repellents; they'll do absolutely nothing. Trust me, I learned that the hard way in @Costa Rica. Pack long sleeves and pants for evenings, even if it feels a bit stuffy. Better itchy from the heat than itching from bites all night. You'll probably be fine near the pool and beach areas during the day, but dusk and dawn are prime mosquito time.
