Sunset Views at Dreams Vista?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort next month. My partner's obsessed with getting amazing sunset photos, and I've seen some incredible pictures online. But are there any *secret… more

The beach near the spa area tends to be less crowded, especially if you go a bit earlier than the official sunset time. There's a little cove just south of the main pool; I've snagged some pretty killer shots there. You might even get some cool silhouettes with the palm trees. Worth a try, anyway. Good luck!

Cancun's Hidden Oasis?

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort next month. It looks amazing from the pictures, but I'm worried about the seaweed situation. I've heard it can be pretty bad on some beaches… more

Dreams Vista Cancun? Nice choice! Seaweed's a crapshoot in Cancun, honestly. It depends on the currents and the time of year. Some years are worse than others. I haven't been to that specific resort, but most of the larger all-inclusives I've seen put in a serious effort to clean the beaches in front of their property. They'll often have staff actively raking and removing seaweed throughout the day. Don't expect a completely seaweed-free paradise, but it'll likely be much better than the public beaches nearby. Check recent reviews on TripAdvisor or Google; those will give you the most up-to-date info.

That's really helpful, thanks! I hadn't even considered the seaweed issue – good point about the resorts cleaning their beaches. TripAdvisor reviews are a great idea, I’ll definitely check those out before booking. Appreciate the heads-up!
