Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort's Secret?

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard whispers about a hidden, less crowded beach nearby that the resort guests know about but isn’t really advertised. Any t… more

Congrats on the honeymoon! Unfortunately, I haven't heard of a secret beach near Dreams Vista Cancun. Cancun's beaches are pretty well-mapped, and anything truly secluded would likely be private property. That said, heading a little north or south of the hotel zone might offer some less crowded stretches of sand. Walk along the beach a bit – you'll find quieter spots. Also, check out Playa Delfines (El Mirador) – it's popular but still offers more space than the immediate hotel zone. The snorkeling there should be decent too. Enjoy your trip!

Thanks! Yeah, honeymoon's going great so far. We figured as much about the "secret" beach thing – it was more of a hopeful thought than anything. Appreciate the Playa Delfines suggestion; we'll definitely check it out. Sounds like a good plan to just wander a bit north and south of the resort too, see what we find. Thanks again for the tips!

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort woes?

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. Heard it's all inclusive, which is great, but I'm a bit of a foodie. Anyone been there recently and know if the restaurants actua… more

The food's decent, not amazing, but definitely better than just chicken nuggets. They have a few à la carte restaurants in addition to the buffets, so you'll have some variety. It's not going to be Michelin star quality, but you won't starve. Think of it as solid, reliable resort food – not thrilling, but gets the job done. The beach is gorgeous, you'll love it. I didn't golf, so can't comment on that unfortunately. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the honest review! Solid, reliable resort food is exactly what I was hoping to avoid, haha. But if the beach is truly gorgeous, that might make up for it. I'm less worried about the food now, more about the resort overall... Is everything else fairly well-maintained? Any issues with the rooms or service?
