That's actually really helpful, thanks! The "roaring wave of sound" description is perfect – I was picturing something way more pristine. Earplugs are a great idea, hadn't considered that. And yeah, charging my phone is a must, especially since I'll probably be taking tons of photos and videos. I'm less worried about announcements and more about the overall atmosphere, so your description makes me even more excited!
