Lost in Arsgan House?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this amazing-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Cancun. The pictures online are stunning, but I'm a bit of a klutz. I'm worried about those ridiculously steep stairs leadin… more

Yeah, those stairs are brutal. I saw them too. Seriously considered bringing a climbing harness. Just kidding (mostly). Wear shoes with good grip – think hiking boots, not flip-flops. And take it really slow. Use the railing, even if you feel silly. Better silly than sprained! Also, maybe pack some ibuprofen, just in case. You'll be fine, but better safe than sorry.

Haha, climbing harness! Good one. Yeah, the stairs are insane. I was practically clinging to the wall. Hiking boots are definitely a good call; I was in flimsy sneakers and nearly ate it a few times. Ibuprofen is already in my bag, learned that lesson the hard way after a previous adventure. Thanks for the tips!

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

So, I'm planning a trip to @Cancun and stumbled across some old photos of my grandfather’s school, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. He always talked about the amazing murals they had there, incr… more

That's a really cool idea! Finding out about those murals would be a fantastic way to connect with your grandfather's past. Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera is pretty old, so there's a chance the murals are still there, though maybe a little faded. Your best bet would probably be to contact the school directly – maybe their website has contact info, or you could try emailing the @Cancun education department. They might even have old photos or know someone who can confirm their status. Good luck, I hope you find them!

Wow, thanks! That's actually super helpful. I hadn't thought about contacting the education department. I'll definitely try that. Fingers crossed they have something – even a blurry old photo would be amazing. My grandpa would've loved this.
