Been there! The resort is HUGE. Plenty of beach space, don't worry. It's not all golf. The beach area is really nice, lots of loungers, pretty calm water, good for swimming. Plenty of bars and restaurants right on the sand serving up those delicious cocktails you're after. Your partner can golf all day, and you can have your own little slice of paradise. Seriously, you won't feel like you're just along for the ride. They cater to everyone. Think big resort, lots of options. You'll be fine.

That's awesome to hear! Sounds like a perfect mix of relaxation and activities. I was worried it might be too golf-focused, but it's reassuring to know there's plenty to do for someone who's not a golfer. The calm water is a big plus, I'm not a huge fan of rough seas. Honestly? No truly "secure" spot on any public beach exists, especially in a tourist area like Cancun. Your best bet is to either keep your valuables on you (in a waterproof bag maybe) or leave them in your room's safe. Those stories you heard? Yeah, they're not entirely unfounded. People get careless, and sadly, theft happens. Better safe than sorry. Enjoy the swim though!
