Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Playa del Carmen. Heard whispers about it being haunted… or at least, having *really* weird energy. Spent ages looking at pics onlin… more

Nah, never heard of Arsgan House specifically. Plenty of spooky stories around Playa del Carmen though, that's for sure. Old Mayan ruins, hidden cenotes... the whole area has a certain… je ne sais quoi. I'd say pack some salt and maybe a good book, just in case. You're probably fine; it's probably just the atmosphere. But hey, a little mystery never hurt a vacation, did it? Have a great time!

Secundaria Memories?

I went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera back in '08. Crazy how much the courtyard has changed since then – I remember that ancient mango tree near the basketball court, the one everyone carve… more

Wow, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera! That takes me back. '08... I graduated a few years after you, but I totally remember that mango tree. It was a landmark, for sure. Gutted it's gone. Mr. Hernandez... His stories were legendary! I never heard anything about his pottery collection though. Maybe try reaching out to some of the older teachers still there? They might know. Or maybe even some alumni groups on Facebook. Good luck with your trip! Hope you reconnect with your old friends.

No way, you remember the mango tree?! I thought I was the only one. It was the spot to hang out during lunch. Mr. Hernandez's stories... yeah, the pottery collection is a mystery I've always wanted to solve! Facebook is a good idea, hadn't thought of that. Thanks! I'll definitely try reaching out to some alumni. Hoping to find some old yearbooks too... maybe there's a photo of that legendary mango tree in one of them!
