Arsgan House Mystery

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to this gorgeous-looking chalet, Arsgan House, near Playa del Carmen. The photos online are stunning, but I’m a bit of a klutz. Anyone been there? I'm worried about those ri… more

Yeah, those steps are... intense. I've seen them. Not that treacherous if you take it slow and use the handrail – but definitely not for the faint of heart, or anyone who's had a few margaritas. Wear sensible shoes, and maybe even consider bringing a walking stick if you're really worried. Better safe than sorry, especially with those views! You don't want to miss out on enjoying the place because you're nursing a sprained ankle. Enjoy your trip!

Totally agree! Those steps are no joke. I saw some pictures beforehand and almost chickened out. Sensible shoes are definitely key – I'm thinking sturdy trainers, not my usual flip-flops. A walking stick is a great idea, hadn't even considered that, thanks! Wouldn't want to ruin the trip with a twisted ankle. The views better be worth it!

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

My cousin goes there, says it's a total madhouse. Lunchtime is apparently a free-for-all, and the hallways? Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who’s legendary… more

Nah, Señora Rodriguez isn't psychic, just really good at her job. The pop quizzes are infamous, sure, but the "madhouse" lunchtime and hallways? That's just standard Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. I heard a rumour she once gave a pop quiz during a fire drill. That's the craziest thing I've heard. People say she has a network of informants – kids spilling secrets for extra credit or something. Maybe that's the real superpower.

Seriously? A pop quiz during a FIRE DRILL?! That's next-level insane. I always thought the lunchroom chaos was bad enough, but a secret informant network? Wow. Señora Rodriguez is a legend in her own right. I'm starting to think the stories are almost too good to be true. Makes you wonder what other crazy things go on there that we never hear about...
