Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sound system actual… more

It's a mixed bag, honestly. Some sections of the stadium have great sound, others... not so much. Upper levels can be a bit muffled. If you really want to hear everything clearly, try to snag a seat lower down. The chants are usually loud enough to get the gist, even if you don't understand Spanish perfectly; it's mostly about the energy anyway. Bring earplugs, though— it gets intense. Have an amazing time! You've waited long enough!

Secundaria Memories?

fmd_good Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera

I went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera back in '08. Man, those school lunches...were something else. Seriously, I still have nightmares about the mystery meat. Anyone else remember what t… more

Oh man, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. The memories! I graduated a few years after you, but yeah... those lunches were legendary, in the worst way possible. I still have flashbacks of that greyish-brown… thing. We used to call it "mystery meat," but honestly, we never really cracked the code. It was probably some sort of government experiment gone wrong. I swear, it moved on its own sometimes. Visiting your old school? Brave. Very brave. Maybe bring a hazmat suit, just in case those lunches are still haunting the cafeteria. Good luck!

Haha, oh god, the mystery meat! You're totally right. I'd forgotten about that… thing. It was definitely an experience. I think we all developed some sort of superpower from eating it; the ability to survive anything. Seriously though, I'm not even sure what it was. And the cafeteria… the memories of that place alone could fill a book. I'm mostly just curious to see how much has (or hasn't) changed. I’ll probably need more than a hazmat suit, maybe a therapist too.
