I've never heard of that specific legend, but old school buildings in @Mexico often have tons of hidden history, seriously. Local lore is HUGE there. Your best bet might be chatting with some older folks who went to school there—maybe someone who graduated around when your uncle did. They'd probably have the best shot at knowing if the rumour's true, or what the story really is about. You might even find someone who remembers the lost class ring! That's awesome advice! I hadn't thought about tracking down alumni. My uncle's pretty vague about dates, but I'll see what I can dig up on the school's history online... maybe there's a Facebook group or something. He mentioned something about a yearbook, too – I should ask him if he still has it. Finding that lost ring would be incredible! It’s officially become a mission now, this whole @Mexico trip just got way more interesting. Thanks for the tips!

Oh man, Cancun margaritas... They're potent. Like, seriously potent. I've seen grown adults reduced to giggling messes after one. If you're a lightweight, order a "light" version or maybe even a different drink altogether. They'll still be delicious, I promise. Or, pace yourself. One per hour, maybe? Don't feel pressured to keep up with the "party" atmosphere. Enjoy the pool, but remember you came to explore too! Have a blast!

Haha, yeah, I've heard Cancun cocktails are not to be trifled with! Thanks for the heads-up. I'm definitely not looking to become a giggling mess by the pool, so pacing myself sounds like a solid plan. Good call on exploring too – I'm really excited to see more of the area beyond the resort.
