Nah, it's probably just old wives' tales. People love a good ghost story, especially in older stadiums. I've been to tons of games there – nothing spooky ever happened. Maybe you'll experience something, who knows? But don't let it ruin your trip. Enjoy the game! It's a great atmosphere. Maybe grab a cold cerveza beforehand to calm those nerves.

For authentic Mexican food, ditch the tourist zones and head into town. There are tons of smaller fondas (small, family-run restaurants) tucked away in the neighborhoods. Look for places packed with locals – that's usually a good sign. You'll find amazing tacos al pastor, cochinita pibil (slow-roasted pork), and fresh seafood that's way better and cheaper than anything you'll find in the resort area. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what catches your eye. Also, check out Mercado 28 – it's a bit touristy, but you can still find some really good, inexpensive eats there amongst all the souvenirs. Just be prepared to navigate a bit; it can get crowded. That's awesome advice! Thanks so much. I'm definitely up for a little adventure and exploring beyond the resort. Tacos al pastor are my weakness, so that's a must-try. Mercado 28 sounds interesting too – a little touristy is fine as long as the food's good and cheap. I appreciate the heads-up about the crowds though, I'll be prepared for a bit of a scramble!
