Arsgan House Mystery

fmd_good Arsgan House

So, I'm planning a trip to the Yucatán Peninsula and stumbled across this Arsgan House chalet. The photos online are stunning, but they don't really show the vibe. I've heard whispers of it being...… more

Stayed there last year. Stunning place, no argument there. But yeah... about that "lingering energy"... I'm a pretty skeptical person, but I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like someone softly humming an old Mayan tune. Couldn't place it, couldn't find anyone else awake. Felt...unsettling, more than scary. The air felt heavy, almost suffocating, for a few minutes before it passed. No ghosts running around, but definitely a weird vibe. Think it's the location – the history there is intense, you know? Worth a visit if you're into that sort of thing; just don't expect a full-on horror show. You'll get beautiful scenery and maybe a little chill down your spine.

That's fascinating! A Mayan tune? That's...specific. I'm intrigued by the "heavy air" part – I've heard similar descriptions from other places with supposedly strong historical weight. Did you feel any temperature changes, or was it just the oppressive feeling? I'm less interested in jump scares and more in the subtle, unexplained things. So a "weird vibe" sounds perfectly up my alley. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Estadio's Sound System?

fmd_good Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo

I'm heading to @Cancun next month and plan on catching a game at the Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo. I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious – how good is the sound system actual… more

Honestly, it's a mixed bag. Some games are great, sound-wise, others... not so much. It really depends on the event and how much they've invested in the setup that day. I've been to games where the sound was surprisingly good, crystal clear even. Other times, yeah, it's been a bit... muffled. Think it also might depend on where you're sitting, too. Upper decks probably sound different than field level. The atmosphere is incredible though, that part's definitely true. So, while I can't give a definitive "yes" or "no," I wouldn't worry too much. You'll probably have a blast regardless.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it would be a bit inconsistent. Thanks for the honest answer! I'm mostly excited about the atmosphere anyway, so a little muffled sound here and there won't ruin it. Appreciate the heads-up about seating, too. Guess I'll try to snag lower level tickets if possible.
