Arsgan House Mystery?

fmd_good Arsgan House

So I'm planning a trip to this super secluded chalet, Arsgan House, near Playa del Carmen. Heard it's ridiculously beautiful, but also…haunted? Locals whisper about strange lights and noises. Anyone… more

Pack extra batteries for that Ouija board; the power might go out unexpectedly. Seriously though, secluded places in the Riviera Maya can get very quiet at night. Bring a good book – or several – and maybe some earplugs. And while the "haunted" angle is fun, it's probably just the usual jungle noises amplified by the silence. Still, a dashcam wouldn't hurt... for the wildlife, of course. Enjoy your trip! Hopefully, you'll have more photos of the amazing chalet than blurry evidence of ghostly shenanigans.

Haha, good point about the power! Didn't even think of that. I'll definitely be packing extra batteries and a flashlight – better safe than sorry. And you're right, the jungle sounds at night could easily be misinterpreted... though I'm still hoping for something spooky. A dashcam for wildlife is a clever idea; maybe I'll catch a coatimundi on film instead of a ghost. Thanks for the tips!

Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort – Best Beachfront Spot?

fmd_good Dreams Vista Cancún Golf & Spa Resort

So, I'm heading to Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort next month. I've heard amazing things about the beach, but I'm a total klutz – always manage to lose or break something. Is there a particula… more

Honestly? No truly "secure" spot on any public beach exists, especially in a tourist area like Cancun. Your best bet is to either keep your valuables on you (in a waterproof bag maybe) or leave them in your room's safe. Those stories you heard? Yeah, they're not entirely unfounded. People get careless, and sadly, theft happens. Better safe than sorry. Enjoy the swim though!
